Doom, Commander Keen, possibly many more - I didn't look further. The site appealed to me in no way, it's just a list of downloads. Now off to read the reviews at Gamehippo ;)

Yes, I do. Porn has no place on anything gaming-related. Besides, it was a warez size anyway (how fitting).
Really? What games?

Tapuak: I just started reviewing January 10, so unless you've visited since, chances are you haven't read any o' my reviews.

If you want to read some o' mine, read my Porrasturvat - Stair Dismount, which is probably my best-written, or ShadowFlare, which is probably my longest. Duel II might be longer, actually.....

Have ya read any of my reviews? Have ya, have ya, have ya?

Certainly, but to tell the truth I mostly didn't notice the reviewer's name. In general I found most reviews quite short at Gamehippo, but it's good that there are any reviews at all. ;)

For info on old games, I tend to go to http://www.google.com.

That sounded strange at first, until I noticed I do the same mostly. ;)

As for game sites, I don't have any specific favorites. Seems there is a lack of quality sites. ;) For freeware games, I often used to visit Gamehippo, though.

But wait, for information on Amiga games, I sometimes check the Hall of Light, which is an extensive database. As for Commodore Plus 4, http://plus4.emucamp.com is worth a visit. http://arnold.c64.org is a C64 download archive, unfortunately without any further documentation. These sites are good if you know what you're looking for, so I wouldn't exactly call them my favorites, but anyway. For browsing, http://www.lemon64.com is better. ;)

Wha? That wasn't porn. It was DOS games abandonware. If you mean it has porno games, so does The Underdogs, but there's been several links to that without it being removed.

Well - you might think this is a laughing matter, but the webmasters who replied to my question whether the site in question has asked for permission to use these files obviously didn't consider it very funny. None of them has ever been contacted by a representative of the site and only one said he didn't have anything against it. All the others immediately renamed the file so that the link on your buddies' site is now dead. Weird how other people don't want to pay for them, isn't it? Maybe they should send those bills to you, then you'd probably stop smiling, too.

For info on old games, I tend to go to http://www.google.com.

For info on new games, I prefer Gamerankings, Adrenaline Vault and Netjak.

For info on game development theory, I go to Gamasutra and various blogs, most notably this one.

For info on the game Industry, I go to several paid sites with investment reports.

Well, why not? Go ahead and post yours as well.

http://www.gamehippo.com (100% freeware. Besides, I'm a reviewer and a mod at the fora.)

[edited out: linkstealing -Mr Creosote] (yeah, yeah, I know, I know. You can stop trying to make me go; it ain't workin'. I'm a mod at the fora.)

http://www.dosgamesarchive.com (Shares the same fora with dosgames.com.)

[edited out: no porn -Mr Creosote] (DOS games abandonware)

http://www.linkslegacies.com (okay, I'm not really a fan of Zelda, but I'm a mod and article writer, so why not?)

http://www.rpgamer.com (My favorite site about RPGs)

http://www.the-underdogs.org (who don't know it?)

That's all I can think of. Your turn.

(EDIT: Put around the URL names.)
