 Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11126 | The blatant Monkey Island rip-off of the first few scenes put me off so much that I didn't seriously touch the game for years. "Hi, I'm Simon (Guybrush) and I want to become a wizard (pirate)." "Sure, just go to the important looking wizards (pirates) sitting in the backroom of the local tavern." "To become a wizard (pirate), you have to go through these three tests..." Too much to get through as a homage. In fact, only after I played through the second one and liked it did I pick it up again. In the end, it was a pleasant experience, but I still can't imagine what they were thinking... ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |
