Member Baby Gumby Posts: 4 | Being a huge game music geek, I really like the in-game music of this game. Especially the C64 version with Jeroen Tel's rendition of this tune on the SID is beautiful! Jeroen Tel lives a few towns away from me and I'm a big fan of his work in the C64 music scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFoN1ZMmNUA Those filtered sawtooths in the bassline and excellent arpeggios in the accompaniment really hit the spot, especially when played back on my dual SID C64 ;-) I found the PC version, which is the first version I played on my friend's old Compaq Portable 3 back in 1990, really quite playable. Graphics looked quite good for the time but the framerate and scrolling was clearly not up to par. Member Baby Gumby Posts: 1 | I love this game. Many people think that DOS version isn't good, but it was a good conversion for that time. Framerate is not perfect, but it's really playable in comparison to the other computer ports, especially for the complete controls. |
