Attention! The following sets have tested positive for malware (falsely as well) some of which have been fixed/reuploaded, removed or supplied with explanatory notes:

Alone in the Dark (62): Disk 1 had orphaned TATOU.COM infected with Cascade-1701 virus, which would trigger detection. Used the healthy TATOU.COM file to replace the former in the same clusters and cleaned the junk data.

Bundesliga Manager Hattrick (161): INSTALL.EXE on both disk 1 and 2 was infected with Tai-Pan.438 virus. Cleaned.

Tag Team Wrestling (391): Was infected with DIR-II cluster virus. Cleaned.

Quake (540): Disk 1 may test positive for Sanesecurity.Malware.27279.LZHHeur.Exe.UNOFFICIAL. False threat.

Alien Carnage (684): Infected with Antiexe virus. Superseded by ID 1819 (Verified). Download removed.

The Lost Vikings (1003): May test positive for Sanesecurity.Malware.27279.LZHHeur.Exe.UNOFFICIAL. False threat.

The Lost Vikings (1025): May test positive for Sanesecurity.Malware.27279.LZHHeur.Exe.UNOFFICIAL. False threat.

Blackhawk (1222): May test positive for Sanesecurity.Malware.27279.LZHHeur.Exe.UNOFFICIAL. False threat.

Aces of the Deep: Expansion Disk (1351): GK.COM is infected with Cascade-1704 virus. A clean matching candidate is ID 2772. Download removed.

King's Quest 5: Absence Makes the Heart go Yonder! (1422): INSTALL.EXE seems to have been overwritten manually due to being infected with Tai-Pan.438 virus. Leftovers of the former file were still in the clusters, which triggered detection. Cleaned.

Star Legions (1447): May test positive for Win.Trojan.RVPS-1. VirusTotal didn't reveal anything. In all likelihood a false threat.

Warcraft: Orcs & Humans (2037): May test positive for Sanesecurity.Malware.27279.LZHHeur.Exe.UNOFFICIAL. False threat.

Storm Master (2084): Was infected with Dos.Flip virus. Cleaned.

1000 Miglia (2091): Infected with V-Sign virus. A fixed version is ID 2115. Download removed.

Stunt Car Racer (2096): Infected with V-Sign virus. A clean version is ID 2124. Download removed.

1000 Miglia (2115): Disk 1 was infected with V-Sign virus. Cleaned.

Stunt Car Racer (2190): Was infected with Marzia-2 virus. Cleaned.

Street Rod (2238): Disk 3 is infected with VGEN-471/PingPong.A virus. Removed without fixing, it's a pirate release anyway.

The Lost Vikings (2314): May test positive for Sanesecurity.Malware.27279.LZHHeur.Exe.UNOFFICIAL. False threat.

Conqueror (2432): Was infected with VGEN-471/PingPong.A. Cleaned.

Ghostbusters II (2433): Was infected with Dark Avenger virus. Cleaned.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure (2434): Disk 1 was infected with Brain virus. Cleaned.

Targhan (2440): Disk 1 was infected with VGEN-471/PingPong.A virus. Cleaned.

The Lost Vikings (2467): May test positive for Sanesecurity.Malware.27279.LZHHeur.Exe.UNOFFICIAL. False threat.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure (2801): Disk 1 was infected with VGEN-471/PingPong.A. Cleaned.

Classifiche e Primati (2821): Was infected with Jerusalem/Junkie virus. Disk 1 rebuilt, others cleaned.

Alla Scoperta Dell'Informatica (3013): Disk 2 was infected with Jerusalem/Junkie virus. Image rebuilt.

ID's 1662 and 1663 (Tie Fighter) are duplicate entries. Can I replace one of them with a working set, which is now available?

Empire Deluxe (5) floppy images test:
Tested with DOSBox ECE. The Game and the Scenariodisk Language is German not English!

The installer ran without any errors. The installed game started to the copy protection screen, but I could not test it because the English manual or codes.txt is not good for the German questions.

My question is the same as in all the last x months: why is this policy not written down in a structured manner and put out for public review before creating yet another irreversible fait accompli situation?

Question (lacking official policy information): what happens with "replaced"/"fixed"/"restored" images as they had been submitted originally? Do you simply overwrite them never to be found again?

Yes, but be sure, I know what I'm doing. There is a very small chance that something will go wrong, however delicate this may seem. I do a lot of checking, comparing and zero guesswork. However, if you suggest we should use a backup folder and move original uploads there just in case, I'm ok with that. Honestly, that idea didn't even cross my mind, because I've had no issues so far.
