Never mind.. I actually found the version I was looking for on eBay.

It's a German version of Flight Simulator 4.0 on 3 x 5.25 inch disks. I would love to share the images here. Is WinImage ok for you guys? I usually like the .IMA format. Or does it have to be in some other format? IMG? Where can I upload to your library?

<-- SOLVED, I uploaded my version to your library.... :-)

Hi there,

as far as I know it is not forbidden to ask. There are several images of said game in our collection. If you want to gain access to them just follow the information in the FAQ

Let me quote the respective answers:
Quote:
How can I download the disk images?

You need at least 50 contribution points. Jumping that initial hurdle, you can download one game per point.

Why do I need points to download disk images?

The disk image collection is primarily about preservation and cataloguing, not distribution. Users who have already earned some points have shown that they are willing to give something back to the community. So the hope is that after downloading, they may take the time to actually present the respective game to the general public on the main part of the site (which, in turn, will then make it available to the public).

As for gaining points you can (also in the FAQ):
Quote:
  • You can review games (usually 10 points per review)
  • You can add games (usually 10 points per game)
  • You can write articles (usually 10 points per article)
  • You can add files (screenshots, downloads, documents etc.) to the game entries (points depending on number and rarity)

So you are off on a good start with your recent review already. ;)

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a floppy disk image of Microsoft's Flight Simulator 4.0 (DOS).
Can't seem to find it anywhere... I would be eternally grateful if anyone could share!

Thank you!

P.S. I am new here, so I am sorry if this request is not allowed or anything.
