Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11098 | Confession time. I guess everybody has something on his / her hard drive which he / she somehow likes but is objectively rather embarassed about. I'll begin - if nobody answers, I've won Now, my hd. If you thought I'll start bragging about my porn collection now, you were wrong - there is nothing embarassing about that One really, really bad thing is some of the music I have lying around here! As mentioned quite some times before, I don't have that much mp3 music. Amongst the stuff I do have is some 70s and 80s pop music and sometimes I even listen to it. The worst one is definitely Toto - Hold the line ( ) along with 10CC - Dreadlock Holiday and Phil Collins - Easy Lover. Now beat that! Member Prof Gumby Posts: 607 | The most embarassing thing on my HD would definitely be some of my music; I could type a list of all the ridiculous songs on there but that would be really exhausting... I'll try to give you some of the worst examples, for those interested... Speedy J - A Shocking Hobby: mainly techno noise, nothing more... Adam Beyer & Marco Carola - Fusion Frame EP: reminds me of the raves at the military base nearby, hope this gives you an idea of what this record sounds like. Al Ferox - Shaved Trax EP: including such "classics" as 'Shaved Woman From Outer Space', 'Sylico Girlz', 'Doom Planet' and 'Slut Machine'. Detroit Grand Pubahs - Sandwiches: euhm... the lyrics are pretty self-explanatory: "Girl I wanna do it; I know you wanna do it too; out here on the dancefloor; we can make sandwiches; you can be the bun; and I can be the burger girl..." and that repeats like a hundred times. To top it off, I also have the b-side 'Krafty Kuts Toasted Mix' of this song. This got annoying a real long time ago, but for some reason I seem to have kept it, and I don't really feel like throwing it away... This 'objective embarassment' thing can really get in my way sometimes, I really don't get the point of forbidding yourself to like anything [Edit: by anything I mean any music, if you like sex with little children and stuff like that, you indeed have a problem], but I do it constantly to myself; it's like you have to protect yourself from being brainwashed by the music industry these days... P.S.: The songs I am most embarassed of are of course those I have made myself with Fruity Loops... Edited by The Mole at 20:43 on November, 15th 2002 ----- "One Very Important Thought" |
