I only made a basic set of smilies for now. You're all welcome to make more though - they should just fit the style. For that, I uploaded a blank face without eyes, nose or mouth. Post your creations here if you have any and I'll put them into the script.

Looks good so far Could you just make it on transparent background. And (I'm too lazy to 'analize' this now, thus the vague description) as far as I can see, there are three frames: the normal smile, the one looking slightly to the left (from the smilies point of view) with the right eyebrow being raised, and then? Then there is something else, but it is so fast it's impossible to see it! Maybe tweak the speed a bit?

No..... transparent..... as in.... background of the page you use it on shining through. Transparent.

That depends on the program you're using to create the frames. If you can't do it, use some really weird background colour (like for example pink) which certainly does not appear on the face itself and send the frames to me. But please try it yourself first!

Yes, the transparacy works However, I've opened it in Gimp now and saw that my previous suspicion was correct: there is one frame in the animation (the first one) which is set to 0 milliseconds display time. That makes it look distracting, as if something's wrong with the image. Either let this frame (the normal smile one) be displayed for some (visible) time or remove it alltogether.
