Guest | If this post is accepted it means that guests can post in the forum again. This means that guests now have no excuse in not telling Mr. Creosote whether you would prefer him to continue with the 1992 reviews or to review all of the entries in this year's Annual Interactive Fiction Competition. |

I'm still undecided as to which way to definitely go, but at the moment I am erring towards continuing with the 1992 reviews because it seems better to finish those reviews rather than leave them undone and start a new set of reviews. Or course this does not stop you reviewing any outstanding IF games that you find. |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11097 | Makes sense… though, of course, that one review series could actually go on indefinitely, because we started it under the title 'Twenty Years Ago' – so while it's about 1992 now, it would just move on to 1993 and so on. Anyway, yes, right now I feel like doing it exactly the way you're suggesting, i.e. continue with the twenty-year-old games and squeeze in a couple of IF Comp games in between. They're usually short enough and ending the 1992 series in October would indeed be less than organic. ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! ----- Edited by Mr Creosote at 08:18 on October 3rd, 2012 |
