Member Pupil Gumby Posts: 11 | I only just recently read on IMDB that there was a Mrs. Doubtfire 2 planned for 2015! Such a shame. He was a comedy genius, loved all his work, shame really. Rumours online suggest he'd found out that he had Parkinson's (like M.J.Fox) - well I read it on Yahoo news page. Sorry, my first post, wanted to talk about something and this seemed 'with the times'. :( |

The dark side of a success like Robin Williams' is that you can never be anonymous – nowhere, you're recognised all over the world! ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

Moderator Deceased Gumby Posts: 1413 | His death was one of those strange cases where I just hadn't realized how long he hadn't stared in a big movie, how I had almost forgotten about him. I remember that Bicentennial Man was one of the first movies my whole family went to see in the cinema together. And back then I actually liked it a lot (it has lost a bit of charm over the years, though I'm almost considering a re-watch now). Yet, if I was to name one of his movies which I like the best, it has to be One Hour Photo. Back then he was somewhat typecast as a friendly comedian, and the total change in tone made this (besides being a rather good flick anyways) a very intense film. ----- The known is finite, the unknown infinite. - Thomas Henry Huxley |
