First of all, colors that are as bright as yellow don't go on grey, in my opinion. I suggest either giving that bar a darker tone of gray (or maybe even black) with white characters on it. Or perhaps a dark, dark green with black or grey characters.

I mean, if you're going to make the background a light grey, stay away from "warm colors." They don't contrast very well at all.

So dark gray on bright gray is a no-go?

No. It means that all font must be either dark or light. As such, you can't have posts where you have light background and thus dark font, and then menu bars, which are so dark that you need to use a light font color.

I like it, but Mr. Creosote will tell you it's too business-like . I personally would go for a white-and-blue color scheme

Personally, I'd go with either A) the wood-like theme of good old days B) replace the current yellow with blue or C) the black one I posted.

Is that supposed to be some kind of joke? As I've always said before, the only thing I'd oppose is blue - everything else is fine with me. I really don't care much about the colours, with one exception. You people decide. As for using the TGOD theme, the reason we have yellow-on-gray right now is that I didn;t agree with that. After all, it's a forum for two sites, not only for TGOD.

That Green/Purple thing is an abomination. I think my eyes fell out and ran away when it saw that.

As the Black/Grey scheme goes, it's alright, but when you do have colors, such as avatars, they look horribly out of place. You could limit them to B/W only, but then you have something that looks like it belongs on some Industrial Metal website rather than here.

We could use the black theme and have the headers (the yellow parts here) red, or perhaps make the links red.

I'm sorry to inform you that, in fact, I like it best the way it is right now.

I like the first one Cypherswipe posted the best thus far.

PLEASE, let's leave the colors alone. Next thing you know micro-fonts will be implemented.

I like the board the way it is but if you are going to change the colours, go for the black and yellow dscheme from cypherswipe

In my opinion the board colours don't have to be changed. If they had to be changed nevertheless, I'd prefer small corrections instead of psychedelic revolutions.

So far we have (only counted clear votes) two for the black/white one and four for keeping it the way it is. Not looking good for your revolutionists...

I like the one Tapuak posted as well by the way.
