@FakeShemp, Be sure such non-game releases never used disk-based copy protection, especially in 1994. Added as ID 2630 and set to Verified since you claim the disk has never been used before. Thank you!

@escarioth, unfortunately, your version is unique to ours. And yes, it seems to be in pretty bad shape, but I will still add it at least for the sake of timestamps (none changed) and primary boot info. May come in handy some day.

sadly not in .ima.

but still all files are there but i cant be sure if its the very same version..
ill upload it and maybe, if im lucky enough it might help you correct the broken files.

else just delete it.

I've seen that one, it is also a different version. Moreover, yours is pre-installed version which is as difficult to find as another disk image just like that.

@escarioth,

Added:

Duke Nukum (2634): v2.0

Galactix (2635): v1.4

Halloween Harry (2636): v1.1 Commercial (All 4 episodes). Also known as Alien Carnage.

Invasion of the Mutant Space Bats of Doom (2637)

Commander Keen: Goodbye, Galaxy! (2638): v1.4

Commander Keen: Aliens Ate My Babysitter! (2639): v1.4

Wolfenstein 3D (2640): v1.4 Shareware (Episode 1 of 6). Disk 2 is a bonus disk, which seems like a backup of disk 1.

Jill of the Jungle: Episode 1 (2641): v1.2

Jill of the Jungle: Episode 2 (2642): v1.2

Jill of the Jungle: Episode 3 (2643): v1.2

Not added:

Bio Menace: Matches ID 487, which is now set to Verified.

Duke Nukem II: Matches ID 474, which is now set to Verified.

Heart of China: Matches ID 2077, which is now set to Verified.

Commander Keen: Invasion of the Vorticons: Matches ID 2596, which is now set to Verified.

Out of this World: Matches ID 567, which is already set to verified.

Thank you for all these! I'm really itching to set all the non-matching images to verified, too, since this time all of your dumps seem to be in perfect condition :)

As for Heart of China, I really don't know. I've tested the installation in VirtualBox, all good. It could be your drive or perhaps your machine's RAM. I suggest you test it, because that alone can produce a lot of weird stuff and particularly during installations.

By the way, congrats on your 50 points (51 to be precise)! You finally did it and can now download anything you like :)

@escarioth,

Your version matches ID 1129. Unfortunately, it's not 100% intact either, disk 1 has modified and orphaned RESOURCE.CFG file, but other than that there are no issues, so for now you can use that one to restore your disks 1 and 4 (disks 2 and 3 match ok).

P. S. And yes, it is SCI.

-D/Generation (2 disks) 720k
saw it already there but im going to help set verified status

-Nova 9 (6 disks) 720k
no problems, you already have a restored version so here's mine.
maybe its better.

Stellar 7 (2 disks) 720k
just to be sure if same version (weird...i can seem to install... i guess some thing being TRUE dos.. not dual boot or else it will crash.. it did the same a while ago
with heart of china...)

*edit Update*
and one more
Realms of Arkhania - Star Trail (8 disks) 1.44mo
no problems ! BUT i dont have the voice pack included....wich was sold separately.

@escarioth,

Added:

Realms of Arkania: Star Trail (2645)

D-Generation (2646): v1.1 No CP (ID 1563 is version 1.0 which asks for the original disk on install, yours is apparently unprotected).

Not added:

Les Manley: Lost in LA: Disk 1, 2 and 5 are infected with a boot virus, and disk 4 and 6 have MSWIN4.0 for their OEM IDs, which means they were re-created under Windows 95. Only disk 3 seems to have remained original and unaffected by the virus. Such a shame, we don't have this game.

Nova 9: Matches ID 2193, which is now set to Verified. Apparently, I made a mistake earlier assuming OEM ID of disk 3 is wrong (MSDOS5.0) and correcting it to MSDOS3.3 to match other disks. Turns out this is, in fact, a factory fault, so I did the reverse this time. Yes, YOURS is the correct one. My apologies to everyone who has downloaded the "restored" version. Please, re-download.

Stellar 7: Already existed as ID 381. While it is modified (CT & AT), yours (disk 1) even more so (a few extra bytes in MBR, created FAME.HAL and RESOURCE.CFG). However, I was lucky to find a perfect set of this game, which is now added as ID 2647 and set to Verified. If you wish to have a 100% clean version feel free to get it now.

Again, big thanks for all this. You've been of immense help to me personally :)

Apparently, your exact version is hard to find in disembodied form, so I had to fix the infected disks using disk 3 and add it as ID 2648. They are safe to use now, but remember, they're not original except disk 3. A working backup is all I can provide at this point.

I really don't know if your PC is infected or not. You need to run a check. Try F-Prot antivirus. This is the latest known version working under DOS.

i dont think its infected since lost in l.a was done around the latest yesterday night.
BUT its also the very first time i installed the game (i just bough it from someone)
and it came with lots of other games that arent infected (else you would surely have told me.)

the only one i recall having same boot virus problem was Monkey island 2 if you recall... and this version came from the UK ebay. (not same seller)

all disks are write-protected... so im a bit puzzled as why would someone would re-write on disk the very same files.. with a virus.. and i contacted the person who sold it to me ...and by his puzzled answers...i can see he wasnt aware too.

so just to be sure ill run an anti-virus. Maybe that monkey island 2 game managed to infect my pc :/ thanks for the help :)

No no, you misunderstood. Some disks are infected, and I'm sure no one did it on purpose. But others were re-created under Windows 95, though, they are not infected. Maybe the virus completely destroyed them so the person tried to restore the disks manually but was also unaware of the remaining infected ones or they got infected later. Just a hypothesis.
