Could you give me some images to test your theory? Quote: I've checked disk 1 of Rastan (002334_rastan.7z). But your restoration is wrong or incomplete. You got me there, chief! Quote: Armor Alley (ID:2448) is Not avaiable to download. There is no meaning to add this if Not downloadable. Looks like an accident. Member Zombie Gumby Posts: 3879 | @fuxxxyfloppy, Thanks a bunch! Those IMZs could be one hell of a pain in the ass, so what you did is mighty awesome. Reporting: Lucasarts Classic Adventures (528): fixed. Cruise for a Corpse (636): extraction revealed a duplicate of ID 112. The Magic Candle (671): extraction and OEM ID fix made it match ID 735. Das Schloß Von Dr. Brain (695): disk 2 extracted, only both are dumped incorrectly anyway. Status changed to "Bad". Darkseed (834): extraction of disk 1 completed a duplicate of ID 864. All New World of Lemmings (1209): extraction of disk 2 completed a duplicate of ID 1241. Heroquest (1847): extraction of disk 2 completed a duplicate of ID 1941. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (1848): extraction of disk 2-5 completed a duplicate of ID 257. President's Choice (2157): fixed, but won't run in either DOSBox or VirtualBox. I suppose PCFIX.COM is probably some kind of a resident hack which enables execution if run prior to booting the game, but DOSBox gives only this: Quote: Exec err# 10 Type <space> to continue Nonetheless, I included it in the archive just in case. All done, hashes and comments updated. Excellent job, fuxxxyfloppy. I think it deserves a little remuneration, so I give you 9 points for each of these entries. Keep up the good work! ----- Cheer up! Member Zombie Gumby Posts: 3879 | The following have been revisited again: Aladdin (2296) Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers (1564) Hero's Quest: So You Want to be a Hero (1950) Jetsons: The Computer Game (2391) Take a Break! Pinball (2381) The Jungle Book (1921) Apparently, there is just one more issue that may occur to write-unprotected floppies. Not only can their OEM IDs change, but also last access timestamps often stick fast and become a legit part of the floppy file system. Next you make a dump and it's all there, which, naturally, affects the checksums, too. The above dumps have been cleaned and rehashed. Keep your floppies protected, please. ----- Cheer up! Member Prof Gumby Posts: 486 | About Oh No! More Lemmings (2504), I saw the following comment. Status: Missing copy protection tracks I have a question. I wonder why Status comment is "Missing copy protection tracks" This "Oh No! More Lemmings" is DD (Data Disk) version. That means it was released as Data Disk version separately. Also this requires Original Lemming Disk with copy protection. Data Disk itself has no copy protected disk but checks Original Lemmings disk. Therefore Status comment should be changed as follows. Status: Needs original Lemmings disk with copy protection tracks Because DD version disk doesn't have copy protected track itself. P.S. All SHA1 of this is verified, because it is same with mine. ----- Edited by ibmpc5150 at 14:47 on March 20th, 2018 |
