Yes, of course it would remain theory untill somebody could actually bring physical proof from this different state of consciousness but that doesn't make it irrelevant... Quantum-mechanics are also just theory but they are important for sience nonetheless

Even your 'phyisal proof' is not real proof. How would you know it's really physical proof and not just something you believe is physical proof?

I don't think bringing physical proof is an option anyway, I think we're talking about something beyond physics here, or at least very different physics than those we know... I think it would be more comparable to the last 15 minutes or so from Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey'...

Yes, those are very common birth-myths. No matter which the 'real' world is (or maybe if they're both 'real' ), they are very likely to be incompatible... :(

You've lost me there... would you mind explaining what exactly a birth-myth is? I can see the relation with '2001' but I don't really understand what you're saying...

:embarassed:

Okay I found out what a birth-myth is now, but now I don't see any link at all with what we were discussing... whatever :)

It's been a while (read: years) since I watched this movie, but if I remember correctly, the lead character (whatever his name was) finds himself in strange places like a bedroom (sybol for 'home', 'safety' ) and in the end, there is one of these monolithes again which he reaches for and some fetus-like thing flies away. It is basically all the "return to the mother's womb" combined with the next step in evolution symbolized by the monolith.

As far as I have read the site, you actually play the games with the lights of the buildings...
