You have Stunts listed in your database, you may or may not be aware that this was later released by Mindscape under the name '4D Sports: Driving' as part of the 4D series.

Have you ever tried any of the other 4D sports games from Mindscape? Boxing being the one I love. You should land yourself a copy and add it to your database, it was brilliant. The graphics may not have been 'Ready to Rumble' but the career-boxer gameplay was 10 times better than any other boxing game ever :)

See attatchment for photo.

Why are they shooting lasers out of their eyes? That never happens in the game!!

Oh, and by the way, if you're talking about PC, Mr Creosote decided to stop adding to it, but I dunno if that applies to fan reviews?? You'd have to ask him. ;)

Yes, I that '4D Sports Driving' problem causes a lot of confusion actually. Most people only know one of the two names and then often accuse anyone using the 'wrong' one of making a mistake.

I have 4D Boxing for the Amiga, so what Tuss said about PC is not a problem. I wouldn't be anyway, because everybody else from inside or outside the crew is of course welcome to provide PC reviews (as Tapuak did just a few days ago). I'm just not the biggest fan of sports games in general, that is why I don't think I can give it a fair review. In case anyone (looking in a certain direction :cunning: ) is willing to provide a review, it would of course be up in no time ;)

Oh, and the best boxing game I've played so far is Boxing on the Atari 2600 :D

Yes, but you only distinguished between me (personally) and fan-reviews (which I assume means 'visitor reviews' ) and that does not make sense.

Jeez, Mr Creosote, your so subtle :D, I'll see what I can do but since I started using XP, the poor game doesnt work :(, i'll have a fiddle with the 'compatability' modes (is that a private joke at MS you think? ) and see what I can do to grab some snaps and stuff.

Is that Realsports Boxing by Atari or Activision Boxing? Either way they are both good but personally I find Atari's version best for two player action, man have I lost some friendships over that game!

Umm...... I'm too lazy to find it out now, I'll just show you a screenshot of the game I mean (courtesy of Tapuak). From that picture, I guess it's Activision Boxing ;)

Here's a snap of the Atari boxing game. It was released later in the 2600's life and is also a 16K game (Activision boxing was only 2K i think), so graphically its much better...

I don't really like this 'pseudo-3D' Atari tried there. Makes you feel so caged :(

Check out this snap for REAL 3D on the 2600. This is a recently homebrewed title called 'Skeleton' written by a guy in US called Eric Ball. The cartridge hasnt actually been released yet. You wander round the 3D maze killing skeletons.

If you want a copy of this ROM (which the author has made PD) so you can try it let me know ;)

3D Monster Maze on the 2600...

Looks a bit like Dungeons & Dragons on the Intellivision ;) I'm also not the biggest fan of Hack-clones, so thanks for the offer, but I don't want to try it right now.

I agree, Hacks are a bit lame :(, but that one definately isnt a hack or clone, its been written from the ground up in ASM - 100% original

So what? The game concept is the same no matter based on what code.
