Trugg is a Boulder Dash type game, you are a cute little robot who can move up, down, left and right, through the levels to collect all the gems you will have to deal with boulders, bombs and other objects along the way.

Some levels you will have to tunnel your way through the mesh and rearrange bombs and boulders into position to push the boulder onto the bomb to destroy what is in your way, you can also drop bombs onto walls to explode them when needed.

The challenge is to pick up all gems to gain access to the next level. Note all gems must be collected, be very careful not to trap yourself or be crushed by boulders or destroying yourself; for example being to close to explosives when you set them off is very easy to do expecially on some of the levels, if you are not careful. Like always some of the levels are a lot harder than others, you have to be mindful and plan ahead, well I found that was the easiest way for me.

The graphics in the game were really well done, nice and clear playing field to set them bombs off and try not blow yourself up, the sound effects I felt could have been better, but I guess for that time things were limited by today's standards. All in all it's a great little game. It will keep you occupied for a while working through the available levels.

So if you ever played Boulder Dash or even Heartlight for the PC and liked it, you will enjoy playing Trugg it was a really good game for its time.

The only downfall is that in the shareware version you only get to play zone 1, there are 4 zones I believe in the registered version of the game.
