Fury of the Furries is one of the best platform games of the time. You control small, lovely, furry balls with hands and feet, called Tinies. The objective is to overthrow 'The Wicked One', who has captured the king and turned all other Tinies into mindless beasts.

The game spawns across eight different scenes ranging from desert, water, forest and others before you eventually reach the castle. Along the way you will encounter enemies as spiders, fish and a really annoying bird and lethal traps as spikes and such.

The most interesting (and innovative) part of the game is that you can transform your Tiny into different varieties. There's the Yellow Tiny that can shoot fireballs and kill things, the Red Tiny that can break through rock, the Blue Tiny, the only one that can swim (and shoot underwater) and finally, my favorite, the Green Tiny, that can grab to the ceiling or other objects, swing and never touch the ground.

The game is not your standard shoot-everything-that-moves type of platformer - there are traps, teleports, obstacles and puzzles to be solved before you reach the exit, and some of them require quite a bit of thinking. Also there are bonuses, extra lives and extra time to be collected. There is a time limit on each level. The graphics are very good for the time and the music is excellent. The controls require some time to master because of the strange laws of physics this game features.

This is one of the best platformers I have ever seen. The gameplay is great, the difficulty curve just right and the joy factor - 10.

Notes:
1 - To switch Tinies, stand still, press Down Arrow, select new Tiny, press Down Arrow again.
2 - To exit to menu press F10.
3 - Runs in pure DOS mode only!
