Review by Underdogs:
Yet another weirdly-named but addictive freeware gem from Japan, Anchor is a great coffee-break game that plays like a cross between my favorite underwater anime game Oden Todo Fish and SubHunt. In the words of our forum regular Gendo Ikari, "...You control a submarine with a cage attached, and you start a level by catching fish. You must return to the surface to get air, and touch your support boat to recharge harpoons and torpedos. After a while, mines and enemies in form of giant fishbones will start to come... Pity that, if you die, you have to start a level over, but it's fun. Use Arrows to move, Z for the harpoons and X for the torpedos." A fun game that takes a while to get the hang of, but after that you'll be hooked. It plays perfectly in a Window, which makes it ideal for ALT+TABbing back and forth from work ;) Two thumbs up!
