Team 17 1991
Genre: Action
Rating: 2/6
Licence: Commercial
System: Amiga

The Triads have murdered your whole family, so already as a young boy, you had to go into hiding. Training your fighting skills for decades, you only live for revenge. Until finally (as a white-haired man), you emerge to beat them all up. Not sure the Triad people will really see the link between some everyday murder they committed 50 years ago and that guy challenging them now, but anyway…

Rating: 2/6

System: Amiga

Although they were only founded as a true developer/publisher in the 1990s, Team 17 quickly got relatively famous in Amiga circles. Their credo was to develop games which actually made use of the Amiga's power, as opposed to using the Atari ST (or even the C64 or IBM) as limiting factor. How do you show off technology? Obviously in fast-paced action games. Many of the common concepts were picked up and given their treatment.

Ultimate Body Blows

Rating: 3/6
Licence: Commercial
System: Amiga

The Body Blows competition goes into its final round. Released about six months after Galactic, the best way to describe it is probably "that CD version of Body Blows". Which has all the fighters of the two previous games. Which, if we're honest, should have been the case in the second one already, because, you know, Street Fighter II did it that way.

Worms

Genre: Action
Rating: 5/6
Licence: Commercial
System: PC

Now, this is quite a famous game and, unlike others, it’s popular with a reason. You get the lemmings, give them weapons (after changing the little suicidal rodents to worms) and you get an action game with plenty of explosions and collateral damage.
