Warlords 3? Didn't I already declare the Deluxe Edition of the second part to be the ultimate version? Indeed, I did. Though what I said was: the best version for those who aren't so deeply into it, as subsequent games introduced gameplay and rule elements which made things too complex for the casual player. So let's have a look what some of these elements are, whether and how they improve the game for expert players. The game's subtitle – Reign of Heroes – should already give you a hint where this is going. Shortly after, Darklords Rising was released – lightly updated once again.
