What is a good resolution for screenshots of Amiga games? It seems like, there were a number of supported resolutions (depending on your Amiga and if you had PAL or NTSC). The emulator I am currently using runs in a 720x568 resolution and as far as I can tell there is no filtering or postprocessing.

Any recommendations?

Also, while playing Ivanhoe, I noticed, that there is no title screen. The closest thing to it is an intro screen of King Richard in a cell (see attachment). What should we do in such a case?

In case the title screen appears nowhere, as sometimes happen, use the closest thing.

Yes, it depends on the game. The most common resolutions are 320x256 or 320x200. Your emulator most likely uses pixel doubling, i.e. it inflates the resolution by factor 4. Again, though, it depends on the game.

A good way to tell is to simply crop the visible picture, try resizing it to 50% per dimension using pixel resize (no interpolation!) and see if it still looks good. Text on the image shows any defects immediately. Trust me – you will see whether this is correct or not.

That's because the emulator shows a complete PAL screen to make sure everything will be displayed.

What Wandrell said. In this specific case, there seems to be one: http://hol.abime.net/2682/screenshot, but I think I didn't find it back then, either. It's probably a problem with the crack. Closest thing is good.

As of today, they've all been used.

I found a version of Ivanhoe with the title screen intact. Done as well.

I think I finally reached the time when the screenshots got a lot better! Around page 30 in the list, almost all of the games seem to have somewhat decent screens. So with the exception of those listed in the first post, I think it's safe to say that there are only few games left that need a makeover.
