Member Baby Gumby Posts: 8 | Hi. Anyone know where I can get hold of a copy of Liberation: Captive 2. I've dug up my old amiga copy and I've been playing it almost constantly at home. Unfortunately, during my long dull nights at work we can do pretty much anything we want. I want to play this. Anyone know if it's still available on the PC or even abandonware yet? Cheers Simon/~Flibster PS. It's good to be back. |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11158 | Welcome back I don't even know if a PC version of Liberation exists. If it does, I couldn't find it anywhere. So why don't you play the Amiga version with an emulator at work? ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

Member Baby Gumby Posts: 8 | Unfortunately the machines are not powerful enough to run an amiga emulator at any decent speed. I'm currently working my way through SWOS but it's getting dull. Simon/~Flibster |

Member Baby Gumby Posts: 8 | I've got 2 development machines, the contents of which are strictly controlled. Both are dual P3 1.13Ghz's. Unfortunatelky the main machine i have to use is a PII 350. It's deathly slow when running win2k. Oh well. Have to find something else to occupy my time. Elite 2 - Frontier maybe. Simon/~Flibster |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11158 | Amiga emulation is running great on my PII/300, but then again, it doesn't have Windows 2000 ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

Member Baby Gumby Posts: 8 | Probably Win2k. But it's not a wonderfull box anyway. It's a compaq. Who in their right minds buys a compaq?? Simon/~Flibster |

Member Dr Gumby Posts: 202 | Celeron 750MHz runs Windows XP very nicely, no complaints. Pentium 2 - 400MHz runs Windows XP, a little slow on boot up, all good with more RAM. 486 DX4 - 100MHz runs Windows '95 well, '98 a little too chunky, ME and XP not possbile ----- Atheism is a Non-Prophet Organisation |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11158 | I have only used a 286 once in my life: at school. Never had one myself. My first PC was a 386 (in late 1993). Shocking, isn't it? ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |
