Review by Underdogs:
Chinese Chess Master is an excellent straightforward chinese chess program that has all the features one could hope for in this type of game, from options to rewind or fast forward moves, save game in progress, and varying difficulty levels. The game's AI is quite tough even at middle (4 or 5) difficulty level, and will give a good challenge to chess experts. The only bad thing about the game is that the computer takes an inordinate amount of time to move at higher difficulty levels, although fortunately you can decrease time limit in mid-game. Overall, a polished small gem that's worth a play by all chinese chess enthusiasts. The lack of tutorial or hints mode, however, may discourage newbies from trying.
