What Type of Villain are You?

Actually, I don't quite understand why they put Elijah as 'Evil Genius'. Sure, he's a villain. But he isn't really all that evil, more like... desperate, broken. That sure is the origin story of many comic villains, but in this movie, Elijah didn't reach the really evil stage yet. Might be a wrong impression because all his crimes aren't shown that extensively though ;)

He made a plain crash, a train derail and a buss explode (I think) just to find one person without the autorities even knowing foul play is involved... That's pretty evil genius-style for beginners (which is exactly what he is: a beginning Evil mastermind)

Well... yes. But where is his 'bigger plan'? What evil did he plan after he had found his archnemesis?

His first priority was finding the "Hero" and making him realise that he was a "hero" so that he can then fight him in the usual super-villian Vs. Super-hero style... This would entail killing of his family and loved ones, causing mayham and panic all over the place and generally just try to kill Bruce so he could then take over the world... Of course I would classify him as either nuts or stupid because

a: stupid: first creating an unbreakable super-hero so you can kill him later? Of all the dumb ideas...

b: nuts: just look at him... Clearly over the edge... scarred by a horrible childhood he's living more in comics then in the real world

Where do you get the information that he 'from now on' (i.e. after the end of the movie) wants to fight the hero, kill his family or whatever?

What other reason could he have for creating an Arch-Enemy... He's mega-obsessed with comics and plans to live his life comic-style... that much is clear from the movie... If you start from that you can easily deduce that he wants to fight this superhero in comic-style... and what do they do in comics: Try to kill the Hero so that they can take over/destroy the world... That is my reasoning... never said my post was based on knowledge... Assumptions are a dangerious thing...

...and maybe he just wanted to see if his theory about everything being balanced is correct and searched for his counterpart because of that...

I'm on my way to a perfect score :D Third time that I fall into a category not yet mentioned... Don't know exactly what to think of this one...

...but I like the Raskolnikov reference though :)

BTW in case anyone is wondering, I didn't get four out of four, because the high school test says I'm an outsider (and proud of it :P), which is the same as Mr Creosote if I'm not mistaken...

Hm.... that 'Despondent Villain' profile fits better to the 'Goth' high school type, don't you think? ;)

Maybe, but apart from the fact that I don't come from a dysfunctional family (...yet :cunning:), the Outsider description really suits me better... I mean, just because I don't dress up in black thinking how neat it would be to 'kill them all', doesn't mean I can't be a total sicko nonetheless

Even the part about the hair-do was correct until a few months ago, but that was rather punk than goth if I may say so myself... and I've never ever heard anyone refer to me as a goth... (not that they would live to tell of course :D)

Okay, so I was referring to people who have actually seen me in real life and/or are not calling me a goth just to try and piss me off... :D

I think it fits the Goth-type and the outsider-type equaly... They are both loners and as such can both be distrusted by the masses because the masses distrust everything that isn't the norm... God thank I'm not part of the masses :)

How do you know I haven't seen you in 'real life'? I could be your best friend and you wouldn't even notice

Oh no, here we go again... Mr C, how many times are you going to try to convinve someone that you know them in real life? It didn't work when you tried it on me and I doubt your claims will hold any credibility with the Mole... :16ton: I know you think it's your evil duty to try and get people paranoid but you're really going to need a new act 'cause this one ain't working... :bemused:

And the only thing I could say would be that you could never know for sure if you are my best friend and if I am in fact who you think I am, so you have no advantage whatsoever over me... and that's about as far as this discussion will ever take us I guess :P
