I think Underdogs has a very prejudiced way of reviewing games. Instead of having an action-RPG lover review an Action-RPG they'll have a "traditional" RPGer review it, ad infinitum naseum. Often I've noticed the reviewer doesn't even appear to have played the game much at all.

So whose with me?

Other than that, I think the forums are the most corrupted thing I've ever seen. The moderators might as well be a shaved monkey from a zoo.

Nothing new in that. Nothing else to say.

Haven't been to Home of the Underdogs for months, so I can't really judge the site's latest development. However, I've always found its reviews very mediocre.

How about that color scheme? Black on Purple? Absolutely brilliant.

I like that color scheme. In any case, it's better than yellow and black on grey.

As for the moderators...I've seen worse (like at Z2, though it's been a while since I've been there.)

You have to give her a little bit of slack, though; she's *practically* the only one working on that site. (http://www.the-underdogs.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25287) I've seen sites that are much, much, much worse sites that have over twenty people working on it.

You're spot-on as far as the reviews go, though.

I like the color scheme here fine, it's easy on my eyes. Not like some neon dance fiesta. There's a reason why you won't find too many sites with that color scheme.

She has others working on the site. A guy called Kyght I believe and Datazoid or something like that.

Besides, when I hang someone I don't use any slack.

And I "hate" bankers.

It's easy to forget to put 2 and 2 together. Underdogs, is of course, a business. She calls it a hobby. She says that her advertising nearly generates $3,000 a month and she fits the rest of the bill. That's a lot of money. If you were generating that much a month through advertising wouldn't you find a way to shovel it into your coffer, while taking shortcuts?

What I mean is, a BANKER WOULD .

Get a T1, a one time fee. From then on, what do you need to pay to host your server? Nothing.

Remember too, she receives several hundreds of dollars a month in donations. I use to donate to her site.

I'm sorry, but I started to realize long ago she was running a scam. This is the real reason, not the public one, that I was banned for life about a year ago (was it that long?).

It hurts my eyes like needles. I'm not saying HOTU is bad, but I hate this forum's scheme. And don't use that "lemme see you do better" trick on me. I can't do better, but I've seen other people that can. So there.

Why don't you just do it like 21ct or TGOD (main/SNES)? Anyway...

If she is a thief and a liar, I really don't care. I just like her site. Actually, the less I know about a webmaster, the more I like the site. For instance, I used to really like TGOD, but now.....:D just kidding.

By the way, you left in February, not really a year. (http://www.the-underdogs.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19280) I registered in Auguest '02, but it doesn't look like I posted 'til March '03. So I guess we kind of just missed eachother on the forum. Oh well.

A lot of forums have a spartan color scheme like this. I think it's a good thing. They don't often have YELLOW, but it doesn't get in the way. It's suppose to go with the SPAM can.

Also, I don't like it when color schemes change for no reason. So Mr. Creosote, don't listen to this maroon.



Perhaps because it's a combo of the of two sites, and hence, necessitates its own unique color scheme. Who knows. But if you're going to tell me this color scheme is inferior to HOTU, I'm going to suggest you split your guts onto the floor to see what they look like.

2. I like when color schemes change for no reason. It gives it a "new beginnings" feel.

3. I never thought of the spam can thing....but I hate the color scheme of that too. Maybe they could combine the color scheme or something.

But I do have a tidbit to add, not that it really matters, but good for trivia. Hormel doesn't like when people use the SPAM can in association with spam. But they don't mind spam being called spam, as long as it's not called SPAM. Really strange, these media relations.

I don't think I need to prove anything to you. Besides, I certainly won't feed the fire of a bitter person who was banned somewhere else for reasons I don't know and which are not of my concern.
