Member Prof Gumby Posts: 336 | Ive just watched the run-down of Colin Powell's report to the UN on the news and from what I can see Iraq is a major threat. Powell showed us a photo of someone collecting some top soil, probably for the local garden center. Powell showed a short film of an old Russian jet fighter with a dodgy exhaust. Well I dont know about you but I'm convinced Lets get 'em. |

Member Retired Gumby Posts: 964 | For dumbasses, it's sometimes hard to understand there can be more than two opinions. But that's not really surprising since Mr Bush perfectly demonstrates this way of thinking ("good/evil", "against us/with us" ). As the influence of his gouvernment seems to be incredibly high on public opinion (how many people are convinced by now that Saddam Hussein is responsible for the World Trade Center attacks?), it's just a logical consequence the popular media adopt this view. Boundless trust in authorities. "Democracy = one "good" opinion, one "evil" opinion. Poor stupid minds. Edited by Tapuak at 22:09 on February, 13th 2003 |

Member Prof Gumby Posts: 421 | I have a question, Besides those from Aus or NZ. I was wondering how many of you know and/or care about Australias involvement/ stance on the whole Iraq issue. It might just of been one off or Americans not caring but I was talking to an American the other day and was informed that the people of America have no idea about what Australia think on the issue. ----- Not all That Glitters Is Gold, Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost. |
